Using color boldly can be a challenge. If attempting a bold color, like a daring hue for your walls, consider this. To make an impact, you don’t have to paint an entire room. It’s not uncommon to make a statement by painting a single wall a bold accent tone. It’s often an easier way to incorporate rich or intense colors without going over the top or without making a costly mistake. Another way to add a dash of bold color is to try it in a small room. Powder rooms are the perfect place to experiment with bold color choices.
TIP: Never trust a paint swatch. Experiencing the color in the natural light of a space is very important. Narrow down paint choices to two or three and put them on the wall before ultimately choosing the winner.
