Taking the family out for a meal can be extremely convenient and enjoyable, especially when the kids’ menu presents options that are precisely what a young eater wants. In an attempt to help appease everyone at the table, we’ve put together a list of kid-friendly restaurants in Corpus Christi that will allow parents to enjoy a family meal without having to worry about dish duty afterward.

Hester’s Cafe

While this spot only offers breakfast and lunch, the kids’ menu deserves a spot on our list. From ricotta cloud cakes and french toast on Challa bread to a grilled ham and cheddar panini and a classic PB&J sandwich, Hester’s Cafe is great at serving the whole family. Plus, there is an outdoor seating option that kids love. 3812 S. Alameda St. and 1714 S. Alameda St.

Brewster Street Ice House

Brewster Street Ice House brings all the classics of standard, cheese- and carb-oriented fare for the kiddos, such as mac and cheese, hamburgers, and chicken tenders. Plus, kids’ meals are just $5 on Sundays. Most importantly, the outdoor playscape is the perfect activity when waiting for food! 1724 N. Tancahua St. and 5550 Holly Rd.

Andy’s Country Kitchen

If you’re local to Corpus Christi, you’re no stranger to the charm of Andy’s County Kitchen. The country diner is frozen in time with a low-top diner counter and an adorable choo-choo-train that makes its way around the perimeter of the restaurant. The menu features all the classic breakfast-all-day staples and some excellent Tex-Mex options too. Kids will love the warm, homemade blueberry muffins that greet them at the table. 5802 S. Staples

Hu-Dat Noodle House

Hu-Dat Noodle House is a Corpus Christi staple and the 12 & under menu does not disappoint. First of all, it’s only $6.50 and it has options like Lo Mein, Pho and chicken and rice dishes. Take this as an opportunity to introduce quality and delicious Vietnamese cuisine to your kids! 6418 S. Staples
