Local owners of Bourbon Street and VooDoo Niteclub, Amy and Lee Noack have had their eye on downtown Corpus Christi with the intent of bringing something new and fresh. “When we looked at this spot, we almost envisioned it immediately. We wanted to pay tribute to the glory days through name recognition and the feeling of old-school New Orleans,” says Amy Noack.

VooDoo Niteclub cultivates classic Gothic Victorian New Orleans design with French antique upholstery, thick crown molding, and elaborate plasterwork with opulent motifs.

“Coming into this, we had a vision, and what came out was even better than we ever dreamed of. Every time I walk in here at night when the sun is down, and the lights are low, and the music is going, it brings me chills. It’s so cool and different. This is nothing like Corpus has,” Amy says passionately.

The club features a 50-foot bar garnished with go-go dancers, and space to dance. The chandeliers add elegance and create ambiance with a light show to accompany bumping jams from DJ King G. Fully fit to organize a Girls’ Night or bachelor party, VooDoo Niteclub offers VIP areas set with a cocktail server, bottle service and mixers, and a sparkler presentation. “We felt Corpus needed a place to get dressed up and have a place to go out with the girls, or a place to dance.”

Much like New Orleans, it’s a place you can’t really explain unless you’ve been there. VooDoo Niteclub is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, offering drink specials all night long. Join them on Thursdays for Latin Night and special pricing on Deep Eddy, Bud Light, and Budweiser. Friday is reserved for Ladies Night with discounts on Crown, Crown Apple, specialty cocktails and half-off on bottle service.

Gather at Voodoo Niteclub the first weekend of March for Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday celebrations. Visit their Facebook page @voodoocorpus.
