Held annually, Shop Small Saturday has become one of the highlights of the holiday shopping season, acting as a local counterpart to the holiday deals found on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The annual nationwide event encourages buyers to shop local, supporting small businesses during one of the nation’s busiest shopping seasons of the year. The initiative gives shoppers the opportunity to support their community by supporting the small businesses that bring their neighborhoods to life.

Here’s a look at some shopping opportunities you can find around town this Shop Small Saturday.

Shop Small Crawl

If you’re looking for the chance to support a variety of small businesses in town, the Shop Small Crawl has just about everything you might need for the holiday season. Taking place across Uptown and throughout Downtown, this event showcases dozens of local businesses and vendors. Even better, the event offers you the chance to win a grand prize featuring local goods. To enter, grab a punch card at one of the stops – once you’ve hit every spot along the way, enter your card into the raffle for the chance at an incredible assortment of goods.

With the large variety of stops along the way, many of these local establishments are hosting their own events and programming. So, even if you aren’t on the actual crawl, make sure to stop by one or more of these awesome spots for Shop Small Saturday deals and surprises.
