The unprecedented flooding in Central Texas has caused devastating loss and damage, and like so many who’ve weathered disaster before, Coastal Bend residents feel the urgency to step up and support our fellow Texans. Our hearts are with the families affected and the rescue teams working tirelessly on the ground.

If you are looking for ways to help, we have compiled a list of trusted resources, ranging from local businesses donating proceeds to drop-off locations collecting essential supplies for the Hill Country.

To ensure recovery efforts are effective, officials in Kerr County have asked the public to avoid sending unsolicited donations. As of Monday, July 7, the Kerrville Police Department and Kerr County Sheriff’s Office are prioritizing monetary contributions and are building volunteer lists for future needs. If you’re in the area and want to volunteer, call (830) 465-4797 or visit Texas Community Recovery.

In moments like these, every dollar counts, but so does where it goes. Unfortunately, scams often surface during times of crisis. Each organization and benefit event listed below has been verified, so you can give with confidence knowing your support will go where it’s needed most.
