Lazy Beach Brewing Expands to Downtown 

Welcome to Downtown Corpus Christi, Lazy Beach Brewing! Its soft opening has been going on for the last week, but be sure to stop by during MusicWalk, on Friday, Sept. 1 for the grand opening of the newest downtown taproom. The spot features an indoor “patio” with a bar and picnic table seating and an ever-changing selection of 20 different craft brews to choose from, including new releases every week. 312 N Chaparral St. Ste. Milky Coffee Bar’s Fall Favorites 

You can always count on Milky Coffee Bar to deliver on flavor and flare, and the fall lineup of specialty beverages is no different. Since fall is upon us, but the temperatures say otherwise, enjoy a pumpkin and spice seasonal drink over ice. The Pumpkin Milk & Cookies is a pumpkin-infused iced coffee with a cold foam flavor of choice topped with H-E-B Halloween Pumpkin Cookie crumbs and the Pumpkin Milky Horchata is an autumnal take on the classic Mexican beverage. 5892 Everhart Rd.

BUS Offers Brunch 

There is nothing but high praise for the newest dining concept at BUS and now you can enjoy new brunch offerings on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m.  – 4:30 p.m. Brunch smash burgers, Ranchero Chilequile stacks and more savory and sweet food and drink offerings to be enjoyed inside or on the spacious, shady patio. 702 N Chaparral St.

Coffee Waves Opens in Uptown 

The local landmark coffee shop is spreading its reach to Uptown Corpus Christi. Professionals working uptown can now wander over to the Frost Bank building for a morning Cappuccino or an afternoon pick-me-up of choice. The new cafe also serves a variety of snacks and sandwiches with ample seating to spend a lunch hour or business meeting. 802 N Carancahua St.

Gabriela’s Opens for Dine-In

The long-awaited opening of the quaint, up-scale tapas joint is here. A Rockport gem, formerly known as GLOW underwent an ownership change and menu overhaul comprised of a curated selection of Spanish and Latin-inspired fare including but not limited to paella, ceviche, seafood tacos and more. Make a reservation between 5 – 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for locally sourced seafood dishes with sweeping waterfront views. 1815 Broadway St., Rockport, TX
