Nueces Whiskey Library Takes on Tequila 

The quaint cocktail bar in The Village shopping center is expanding its expertise to more than just whiskey. Nueces Whiskey Library will be hosting a tequila pairing dinner on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m. The Nueces chef’s creative culinary flair is showcased in a four-course dinner pairing experience with the smooth and refined taste of Proximo Cristallino Tequila.

Sew Bonita Teams Up with Vianney Rodriguez for a Cocktail Class 

Gift the mom in your life a cocktail-making experience with cookbook author, Vianney Rodriguez of Sweet Life Bake! Learn how to craft and enjoy three tequila-based cocktails at Sew Bonita on Saturday, May 11 from 7 – 9 p.m. Guests will receive a custom syrup to take home, along with tips for crafting cocktails at home and a copy of Latin Twist, Rodriguez’s latest cocktail book.

Quirky Birds Coffee Opens in Rockport 

Rockport’s newest coffee house, Quirky Birds Coffee, is now open inside Bloomers Nursery in Rockport. Quirky Birds prides itself on serving coffee from roasters all over Texas but offers a selection of lemonade, tea-based drinks and macha too. Don’t skip the “Indigo Bunting,” a salted lavender lemonade infused with blueberry and pea flower extract. 114 W 4th St.

Coastline Grill Opens at Cinnamon Shore 

Summer is almost here and a weekend at Cinnamon Shore South provides the ultimate beachy staycation for the whole family. New Waterfront Restaurant Opens at Bluff’s Landing

Mimi’s & Papa’s, a casual all-day restaurant, has opened at Bluff’s Landing. Customers can expect a range of seafood options like fried shrimp and blackened fish with white wine sauce. The cafe offers an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, cream gravy and more, for $16.95.
