New Asian Fusion Restaurant Arrives
Gogi Yaki, a new Asian fusion restaurant, opened its doors in early July, bringing a delightful addition of Japanese and Korean flavors to the local dining scene. The menu features classic and innovative dishes, such as loaded bulgogi fries, Korean spicy fried chicken, Shin ramen and a variety of appetizers that are sure to delight. Popular Local Coffee Shop Announces Upcoming Closure
In an Instagram post shared on July 31, Milky Coffee Bar announced it will indefinitely close its doors on Oct. 12, 2024. Owned by local artist and entertainer Frankie Reyna, Milky Coffee Bar was founded as a celebration of community and a safe space for the queer community. Though its final operating days are approaching, the cafe will continue to offer its full menu until then. Gallery 41’s Now Offering Brunch Service
The people asked, and Gallery 41 delivered. If you’re searching for a new Sunday brunch spot, look no further than the Art Center of Corpus Christi’s newest dining concept. With seatings at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., each service lasts for two hours and includes champagne drink specials and an all-you-can-eat buffet style with freshly baked pastries, a carving station, a DIY Bloody Mary bar, gourmet omelet and waffle bars and a flaming donut experience. Sumo Hibachi Express Moves into Former 8TE Location
Sumo Hibachi Express is a new hot spot for delicious hibachi, ramen, bubble tea and more. Located in the former 8TE location, the restaurant serves a selection of lo mein, fried rice, and ramen entrees; along with single and double hibachi specials. Sumo is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. 1220 Airline Rd # 250
