Funky and creative flavors abound at Impact Nutrition. The local drink spot has become a neighborhood social gathering place for those looking for modern-nutrient and protein-based ingredients.
There is a specific emphasis on high energy and positive vibes, when it comes to both their brand as a whole and the environment the shop has created for their customers. Co-owners Rebekah Gonzalez and Lino Diaz started the shop for that very reason: to promote a healthier lifestyle for the Coastal Bend and help people feel good in the process.
Impact Nutrition’s menu is packed with flavorful drinks and bites that you can feel good about taking in. From energy and immunity teas to sugar-free coffee drinks and delicious shakes, their endless options aim to help customers feel refreshed and energized throughout the day. The shop also serves up meal replacement shakes, healthier alternatives to energy drinks, protein coffee, specialty donuts, and fat burner shots, as well as tons of vegan and gluten-free options!
Not only have owners Gonzalez and Diaz committed to making sure the community feels at home in their shop, they’ve also made it a point to get involved in the local community and give back. Amid the height of COVID-19, Impact Nutrition operated with curbside pick-up and delivery options, but they wanted to do more – they wanted to give thanks to our essential workers.
The shop started a GoFundMe back in late March, aiming to supply first responders, grocery workers, medical staff, and other essential employees with delicious shakes packed with vitamins, minerals, and protein, as well as energizing and immunity-boosting teas to help nourish and protect those who worked hard for the community during that time. Every dollar raised from community donations went to providing drinks to those working hard to keep our city safe and running.
The shop, being open for just about a year now, has quickly become a beloved spot for not only our health and fitness community, but for any local looking to enjoy a refreshing beverage. With the South Texas heat beaming down, a drink from Impact Nutrition will not only help cool you off, but make you feel good in the process!
