If you’re looking for a fun and educational way to celebrate Earth Day this year, The Coastal Bend Bays Foundation’s 23rd Annual Earth Day-Bay Day Festival is the perfect opportunity for the family. The festival will take place on April 9th at Heritage Park from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
The festival will host a variety of organizations, activities, and vendors, with feathered friends and coastal creatures from Wild Sky Productions and The Texas Zoo, hands-on touch tanks from The Coastal Expo, a unique display of electric vehicles, Birds of Prey Raptor Show, and much more fun.
The organization has a rich history in the Coastal Bend, founded in 1991 as a public interest organization dedicated to the conservation of freshwater and coastal natural resources. The organization aims to educate all ages on local conservation efforts and research. For the past twenty-three years, the Coastal Bend Bays Foundation has hosted this special event to connect the community to conservation efforts while creating a fun and engaging event for the family.
If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor, exhibitor, vendor, or volunteer register on the organization’s website.
