Cirque de la Symphonie is a new production formed to bring the magic of cirque to the music hall. Each artist’s performance is professionally choreographed to classical masterpieces and popular contemporary music.
Festival De Mariachi! En La Isla

The third annual Festival de Mariachi! En la Isla begins on Apr.13 and will include performances by high schools and professionals. Activities are available for the entire family to celebrate Mariachi, including food trucks and goods from local vendors. Spend the weekend attending performances and workshops to experience the art of Mariachi to its fullest.
Crawfish for a Cause
April 22
Crawfish for a Cause is an annual crawfish cook-off held at Concrete Street Amphitheatre benefitting The Salvation Army of the Coastal Bend. Attendees will be able to enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, live music, family friendly activities and more. The cook-off teams will be making over 15,000 pounds of crawfish for attendees and competing for $7,500 in prizes. Tickets available online.
Oyster RoundUp

To celebrate the end of Texas’ wild oyster season, Water Street Oyster Bar is hosting the inaugural Texas Oyster Roundup. Enjoy plenty of oysters, live music, panel discussions, guest speakers and marine conservation booths and vendors. The event will last from 12 – 10 pm at Water Street Market and tickets are available online.
Birdiest Festival in America
April 26 – 30
Celebrate spring migration, as birds take their annual trek through South Texas at The Birdiest Festival in America. Experience the bird festival fun with a Welcome to Texas BBQ dinner, vendor trade show, bird watching field trips, artisan booths, a Saturday Family Fun Day and more. The Festival is based at South Texas Botanical Gardens and registration is available online.
Keep Texas Wild Triathlon
April 30
The Keep Texas Wild Triathlon at Lake Corpus Christi State Park offers two race distance options for triathlon enthusiasts of any level. Participants can sign up for The Sprint, Sprint Relay and Mini-Sprint Triathlon. Triathletes begin a deep open water swim, then an open course bike race and end with a hilly run course. This race is not for the faint of heart!
