Upon recovering from the comatose state of a gorgeous turkey dinner, our new state of adrenaline nears for this years’ Black Friday. The challenge? Making it to the front of the line, and getting the best gifts possible; all in fair game. Black Friday deals are the best way to tick things off your holiday gift list, but you’d be amazed at what else you can find on day where sales are sprouting up everywhere.
Going with a group or a family member on Black Friday escapades is always recommended; so is charging your phone, just in case. A cup of strong coffee or an energy drink depends on the person. The weather will reach a mid-70’s in the day, so if you won’t have to bulk up.
On Friday, the good ol’ Corpus Christi Hooks team is hooking us up with buy one get one deals on Snoop Dogg concert tickets, so get them while they’re hot! A little before Christmas, he’ll be performing on December 1st on the Whataburger Field. This makes the perfect precursor gift TO a fan, or FROM a fan.
La Palmera Mall, as it does yearly, is opening its doors to Black Friday shoppers at a crisp 6 AM. Select stores will be open, like Bath & Body Works, Macy’s, PINK, PacSun, Hollister, ULTA, etc; after 8 AM will open MAC, Kendra Scott, H&M, Dillard’s, etc. Make sure to get a full night’s rest after stuffing that Turkey to make it to your favorite stores tomorrow!
The Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay will also be promoting deals on their designer clothes and popular brands. Their doors open at 5 AM, and will stay open until 10 PM.
Banking on that new T.V. at Best Buy? They’ll be open at 8 AM.If you’re the outdoorsy type, (or have a gift recipient who is), Academy will open at 5 AM and remain open until 11 PM; Moore Plaza’s Target will be ready for shoppers at 7 AM.
Price checks are cool, but timeliness is cooler. It’s not a race, but slow and steady always wins it. Get your best shopping face on, and go go go!
