When I started What Amy’s Eyeing, formerly known as “At Home With ABK,” I had no idea where it would go or what I would end up enjoying most. What I did know is that I had a passion and I had to get it started no matter what. My passion stems from a desire to help others in any way that I can. As a former HR representative and teacher and current stay-at-home mom, everything I love revolves around people. For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed creativity and all things fashion and beauty. I love fashion for the memories it can become. To me, finding pieces that are unique and work together is a true joy for many reasons. I love that pieces become memory-makers and that they can be worn during the most special times and passed down for generations. I knew I had to turn this passion into a platform where I could create fellowship with others and share my ideas in a way that I aspire to be positive, helpful and uplifting. This is what I believe What Amy’s Eyeing has become.
What I mostly want you to take away is that if you have a passion, fight for it. Enable others to see you through what you do best and help others be confident in who they are through the passion you share with them. Encouraging each other through the highs and the lows of everyday life can help create lasting impressions that go far beyond your imagination.
As a mom, it is very important to me that I am helping instill healthy habits for my children, and part of that is a healthy skincare routine. It has also been equally important to me that I am using high-quality beauty products and maintaining a healthy level of self-care. I also prioritize using SPF, drinking water, exercising and sleeping. Most days are busy, and even just 30 minutes of moving or getting outside can change the entire day.

I use these pads after the energizing cleanser on days when I notice a breakout or have makeup on longer than normal. It gives my skin that extra kick it needs.

This is my favorite lipstick. The perfect shade of neutral and pink, it gives just the right amount of color to add a pop for when you’re dressed up and remains a perfect neutral tone on natural days when you’re just looking for a little color.
Merit Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara
This mascara leaves your lashes looking long, natural and full. The thing I love most about it is the length it adds and that it doesn’t clump. I apply more coats for volume on days I really dress up.
Divi Scalp Serum
This is a must-have for all postpartum mamas or anyone who has experienced hair loss. I started using this after I had my son, and it has been a lifesaver when it comes to hair regrowth and scalp health. The results are incredible and the ingredients are so clean it’ll leave you confident that you’re doing the best thing you can for your scalp.
