The Brick Bar + Bites, a new watering hole, offers something for everyone. With 20 beers on tap, a full bar, and a select food menu, The Brick provides a casual cool spot where one can relax alone, meet friends, watch sports, or listen to music while eating great food.

“We’re not a sports bar per se…we’re an ‘everything bar.’ We do show sports, but we also provide cocktails, shots, beer, and bites (with a kitchen open late hours). We also have games and pool, and an outdoor patio with an outdoor bar. We play multiple genres of music…oldies, top 40, hip-hop, some country, etc. We also have live entertainment on some nights, and always have a DJ on the weekends,” says the owner, Susan Gonzales. “Corpus Christi has a lot of entertainment options, especially regarding the bar scene. However, many are of a certain niche, i.e., western/country, ultra-lounge, Latin, etc. There aren’t many bars that are a cool place for everyone to meet and not be worried about a specific dress code, AND ALSO HAS FOOD! We wanted to give CC a place for people to gather after work, after dinner, whenever, and have a great time.”

The Brick’s signature nachos are a must try! They are prepared in a large bucket; covered with cheese, toppings, and goodness; flipped over on a tray; and presented by lifting the bucket off, allowing a mountain of everything delicious to fall slowly into the shape of the dish. The other big hitter is El Pancho, a beast of an all-beef hot dog. And don’t forget The Grizzly, a two-pound burger served with fries and all the fixings that will easily feed four or more.

With the upcoming Super Bowl, The Brick will be having a huge Super Bowl party with specials on drinks and food!
