For the best oyster varieties, Water Street is the way to go. Here you’ll find over a dozen options, where everyone can choose their own adventure. A few locally farmed options include selections from Clear Water, Key Allegro, BlackJack Point and Big Tree Oyster Farms. The Cupid’s Choice, Savage Blonde, Momma Mia and Pink Moon varieties all hail from Prince Edward Island.
KC’s Oyster Shack
Ideal for group outings, KC’s Oyster Shack offers a special treat for local oyster lovers. The space features a full-service experience, with a horseshoe-shaped bar packed with ice-filled troughs that makes for a stunning display. Here, you can indulge in a bounty of freshly shucked oysters and jumbo shrimp. For those hesitant to dive into raw selections, the grilled options offer a delicious entry point into the world of oysters. Dokyo Dauntaun
For a departure from Gulf oysters, the Chef’s Special Calamansi Oysters from Dokyo are an excellent choice. Sourced from Canada and the Virgin Islands, these cold water oysters, shucked to order, carry a much sweeter taste and, as Chef Miller Xu put it, “are really good for someone who wants to try oysters for the first time.”

Snoopy’s Pearl Oyster Bar
Nothing complements an evening of oysters quite like water views at sunset, and Snoopy’s Pearl Oyster Bar knows this to be true. With one of the largest selections to choose from, you’ll find Black Magic, Savage Blonde, Conway Pearls, Cupid’s Choice and Summer Loves, just to name a few, on rotation. As part of its weekday happy hour, treat yourself to $2 oysters from 3 to 7 p.m.
