From Pride month programming to the 2026 Juneteenth Festival, there are plenty of events to look forward to in the Coastal Bend this June.

May 30-June 6

Mural Fest

Start your summer with the 5th annual Downtown Corpus Christi Mural Fest presented by the Corpus Christi Medical Center. Celebrate the addition of five new murals as artists from around the world land in the Coastal Bend. The festivities begin May 30 at 11 a.m. with a community paint day at BUS, and continue through June 6 with multiple events, including an artist Q&A, live painting, a Mural Fest ArtWalk takeover and more. June 5-7

Corpus Christi Comic Con

The Corpus Christi Comic Con returns to immerse fans in a three-day celebration of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay and art at the Hilliard Center. Starting June 5 at 12 p.m., fans can enjoy cosplay competitions, meet the celebrities and artists behind the pages and screen, attend interactive panels and swap meets and so much more. Please note, children 10 and under must be accompanied at all times.

June 6

The Brunch Club

Kick off summer with the monthly daytime dance party at BUS, Brunch Club. This month’s Brunch Club takes on a tropical theme, with an afternoon full of dancing, food, drinks and vendors. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees can enjoy tasty drinks from Cafesito Bebe, brunch cocktails and bites from BUS and shopping from Sisters from Texas and Jewels. Guest DJs Dreamware and Discotherapy will be keeping the crowd on the dance floor.

LGBT+ Run Club

Join the CCTX Gay Running Club every Saturday this month to tackle new running routes with new friends. Starting each run at Lucy’s Snackbar at 10:30 a.m., the group is welcome to runners of all paces.

ArtRageous: Be Kind, Rewind

The Art Museum of South Texas rewinds time to the age of iconic cartoons, music television and grunge sound. Starting at 8 p.m., attendees will be immersed in an experience showcasing iconic grunge-era art and music, with activities, photo ops and more.  All proceeds support the museum’s exhibitions, educational programming and community outreach. Guests are invited to dress in a way inspired by skate culture, studio art and all areas in between. Tickets are available for purchase online. 

June 11

Pride Movie Night

Join Pride Corpus Christi at The Hidden Door for a complimentary showing of “Brokeback Mountain.” Attendees can snack on popcorn and snow cones while participating in an art project led by Seattle artist Natalie Woodlock. Handkerchiefs will be provided for guests to record the specific moments that moved them. Following the film, Woodlock will embroider the names of those who were moved to tears onto the fabric. These shared emotional experiences and scene descriptions will be featured in Woodlock’s upcoming book, “Tearjerker.”

Field to Shore Brunch & Fundraiser

The 14th annual farm-to-table dining event, hosted by Grow Local South Texas in partnership with Coastal Bend Chefs and the Texas Chefs Association, is the largest fundraiser of the year. This event features live music, a silent auction and a locally sourced menu variety with the purchase of a ticket that supports the mission of improving access, education and advocacy about affordable nutrient-dense foods. This celebration of local foods begins at 10:30 a.m. at the H-E-B Foundation house, against the backdrop of Corpus Christi Bay. 

June 19-21

2026 Coastal Bend Juneteenth Festival

Join the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education Corpus Christi Chapter for the only Juneteenth Festival in the Coastal Bend! The annual event includes live music, food trucks, local shopping and education vendors, art and culture and more, all at Waters Edge Park. The three-day event begins at 3 p.m. and is open to the public, with special experiences available via ticket purchase

June 20

Lucy’s Second Annual Downtown Field Day

Save the date for year two of Lucy’s Downtown Field Day! From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., cheer on your favorite downtown businesses as they participate in various nostalgic field day games. Then, from 1-5 p.m., enjoy local vendors, field activities for the kiddos to participate in and a dunking booth. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Bend and the Je’sani Smith Foundation. Keep up with the event’s Instagram page for schedule and event updates.

Pride Diva Showcase/ Miss Corpus Christi Sweetheart Pageant

Experience the 10th annual Pride Diva Showcase alongside the 16th annual Miss Corpus Christi Sweetheart Pageant at House of Rock. Organizers Brittany Andrews Entertainment will co-host the festivities with DJ Johnny Hotcakes and Nathan C. Paris, featuring a special tribute to Zara Doll Diva. Doors open at 8 p.m. for attendees 18 and up, with the competition officially kicking off at 9 p.m. Tickets are available online.

Rainbow Run/ Walk Corpus Christi 5K

Join the Coastal Bend Pride Center at 7 a.m. at Cole Park for a run/walk 5K to support funding for the Coastal Bend Pride Center. Race entry fee can be paid online, and runners are encouraged to purchase a t-shirt or wear their rainbow/pride outfits. Runners and walkers alike are welcome to participate in this event full of inclusion and pride.

Pride Corpus Christi Family Day

Pride Corpus Christi hosts its 9th annual family day celebration at All Saints’ Episcopal Church from 2-5 p.m. Focusing on education and fun, families can enjoy food, activities, local vendors and free books for children. With love and literacy at the forefront of this event, families can enjoy readings from special guests such as Kitana Sanchez, Miss Trans Texas USA 2025. The night will also include the distribution of scholarships donated from the Eddie Perez Memorial Fund.
