In our monthly Table Talk series, we gather food and drink news in one place for your convenience. From restaurant openings to new offerings at local establishments, here’s what we’ve seen in the Corpus Christi food and drink scene this month.
New Dining Option at Cinnamon Shore
What began as a pizza joint in 2011 evolved into a fine dining destination in 2017 in the Texas Wine Country, and later expanded to San Antonio. Now, Stout’s at the Shore brings New American cuisine with a seafood focus to the already vibrant on-site dining scene at Cinnamon Shore. With San Antonio-based restaurateur Jason Stout at the helm, the menu features dishes like steamed mussels, garlic shrimp scampi, lemon dill shrimp pasta, Chilean sea bass and more. Word around town is that the Mi Corazon cocktail is the official drink of the summer. This photo-worthy tequila-based cocktail combines passionfruit, blood orange and pomegranate for a juicy twist, with lime juice adding brightness and a telecherry peppercorn and salt rim sealing the deal. The new restaurant is now open for lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended. 201 Social Circle
