Have you ever lodged popcorn onto an open stage? Relished in the too-intense emotion of the actors on that stage? Laughed, cried, and yelled in a public theatre, all in the same night?

If you haven’t done so (or, even if you have) here’s your chance! Corpus Christi’s Harbor Playhouse will be presenting its Summer Melodrama on July 6, and it will run on weekends through July 29. The show this year is No Opera at the Op’ry House Tonight or Too Good to be True. It’s quite the mouthful of a title, but it’s sure to incite lots of laughs.

On the Summer Melodrama’s Opening Night, the Harbor Playhouse will also be celebrating the Grand Reopening of the Studio Theater. The Reopening celebration will include food and drinks, a dedication ceremony, and to conclude the night, a performance of the show.
