ThebrYWCA’s Yuletide Luncheon & Market is one of the two fundraisers thatbrsupport YWCA Programs and Missions of eliminating racism and empowering women.

This Friday, November 8, 2019, the 29th AnnualbrYuletide Luncheon & Market by-the-Bay brings a one-day shoppingbrextravaganza, motivational speaker event, and luncheon to the Holiday InnbrDowntown Marina from 11:30 am – 1 pm.

Shop for yourself or get an early start on your holiday list during the Yuletide Market from 10 am – 3 pm. From local jewelrybrdesigners to glass artists selling ornaments, there are a variety of uniquebritems for purchase. The Market is open to the public and free with the purchasebrof a luncheon ticket or $5 for the Market event only.

However, it’s highly encouraged to stick around and enjoy a deliciousbrlunch and listen to Motivational Speaker, Marisa Ortiz. Presenting ideas frombrBest Seller, The Four Agreements for Life by Don Miguel Ruiz, Marisabrwill speak on the ancient Toltec wisdom that advocates freedom frombrself-limiting beliefs.

Funds from the Yuletide Luncheon & Market presented bybr2019 sponsor Citgo benefits YWCA programs such as YWTeen, a programbrincorporated into the curriculum of different local school districts for 5thbrand 6th-grade girls that work to teach self-esteem, how to deal withbrbullies, leadership, and goal setting.

The work of YWCA Corpus Christi doesn’t end there; fundsbralso help Fitness Connection Programs geared towards senior citizens withbrlimited access to physical activities.

“These programs are vital to our organization. They offerbraccess to so many individuals that need it,” says Beverly. “Through FitnessbrConnection, individuals with mobility issues, diabetes, heart issues, andbrothers can access swimming, water aerobics, yoga and more.”
