A fun-filled day at Rockin’ K Farms, now in its 11th year, makes for a memorable trip to the country for the whole family. Rockin’ K’s story starts with Jeff and Traci Klepac, who opened Klepac Farms in 1981. Jeff is a third-generation farmer, as his grandfather grew up farming in the 1900s. In 2006, the Klepac sons, Wade and Brandon, joined the business to continue family traditions.
Growing up in the Coastal Bend, the Klepacs envisioned a place for families to go and enjoy wholesome outdoor fun. With the help of Traci’s daughters-in-law Rachelle and Kourtni, the lingering idea for a corn maze was brought to life in 2014. The family created a seasonal corn maze that changes yearly, with more than just challenging twists and turns to attract all ages. Over the years, Rockin’ K Farms has evolved from a single maze into a full-on fall festival for Coastal Bend families to enjoy.
The delicious food and drink offerings seem to get better year after year. Sweet Bin serves up festival classics such as lemonade and kettle corn. Kountry Kitchen, The Smokin’ Silo, Texas Treats and Kountry Road Scoop are also on-site to provide tasty bites. Plus, adults can find alcoholic beverages at Turnrow Cantina.
Attractions:
Folks can also enjoy plenty of photo opportunities throughout the farm, a giant pumpkin patch and pumpkin house, farm animals, backyard games such as tug o’ war, corn hole, an apple blaster, pumpkin bowling and more.
