A fun-filled day at Rockin’ K Farms, now celebrating its 10th anniversary, makes for a memorable and educational trip out to the country with the whole family. Rockin’ K’s story starts with Jeff and Traci Klepac, who opened Klepac Farms in 1981. Jeff himself is a third-generation farmer, as his grandfather grew up farming in the 1900s. In 2006, the Klepac sons, Wade and Brandon, joined the business to continue family traditions.

Growing up in the Coastal Bend, the Klepacs envisioned a place for families to go and enjoy wholesome outdoor fun. With the help of Traci’s daughter-in-laws Rachelle and Kourtni, the lingering idea for a corn maze was brought to life in 2014, making it the first woman-owned maze in Texas. The family created a seasonal corn maze with more than just challenging twists and turns to attract all ages. Over the years, Rockin’ K Farms has evolved from a single maze into a full-on fall festival for Coastal Bend families to enjoy.

The annual fall festival runs until November 6 and a new maze design is created each year, which serves as an exciting surprise. Folks can also enjoy plenty of photo opportunities throughout the farm, a giant pumpkin patch and pumpkin house, farm animals, backyard games such as tug o’ war, corn hole, an apple blaster and pumpkin bowling. You can even hop aboard the Cow Train for a ride around the farm. There’s no shortage of fun to be had at Rockin’ K Farms.

Kountry Kitchen, The Smokin’ Silo, Texas Treats and Kountry Road Scoop are also on-site to provide tasty bites. Plus, adults can find alcoholic beverages at Turnrow Cantina.
