Pride Month exists to celebrate and commemorate the LGBTQIA+ community and its many achievements, advancements and contributions to our history. Pride is celebrated internationally every year in the month of June, emerging from the Stonewall Riots that took place in June 1969.
Although the annual Corpus Christi PRIDE Parade has been moved to the month of October, there are still tons of family-friendly, interactive and exciting ways to celebrate Pride Month in the Coastal Bend. Here’s a roundup of PRIDE Corpus Christi affiliated events happening in the area all month long.
