Pride Month is a celebration and commemoration of the LGBTQIA+ community, its pursuit of equal justice under the law and equal rights, and the many achievements and advancements the community has contributed to our history. Pride is celebrated internationally every year in the month of June, emerging from the Stonewall Riots that took place in June 1969.
Although the annual Corpus Christi PRIDE Parade has been moved to the month of October this year, there are still tons of family-friendly, interactive and exciting ways to celebrate Pride Month in the Coastal Bend. Here’s a roundup of events happening in the area all month long.
