In early 2020, (we’ll call them the good ole days) parties just weren’t the same without lots of people. Now in the COVID-era, social distancing and business shutdowns have forced us to disprove that theory. While change has undoubtedly forced upon us new ways to get on with our lives, it’s not all for the worst. Fortunately, local event planning company, Oh Goodie Designs + Events, has us covered for hosting fun micro-gatherings with their latest Party Out of The Box, a party operation suitable for 2-10 people, complete with Instagram-worthy decorations, snack boards, and drinks.
“I had an idea for a party in a box that I could deliver and use for a girls night in or a birthday party, with the Oh Goodie Design branding and aesthetic,” says Oh Goodie Design + Events owner, Jo Anne Howell.
Jo Anne shares how she partnered with BUS to take Party Out of a Box a step higher and utilize their Little BUS, a purchase BUS made before the pandemic, and since hasn’t been able to use it.
“We partnered up to make [The Basic Box] a little bit more exciting with BUS,” Jo Anne continues. “It gives people an option to gather in small groups and participate in events that they couldn’t otherwise because of the pandemic.”
The Basic Box includes your choice of a charcuterie board provided by Eleanor’s or a sushi board from BKK. Along with Posh and Posy’s extra-large balloon bouquet, a dozen macarons from Wildflour, and Oh Goodie Design’s branded line of party napkins, plates, stir sticks, picks, and bar cups.
Need more shebang? Upgrade to The BUS Box! Everything from The Basic Box is included plus a three-hour service for the Little BUS, a corn hole game, and a selection of a local brews, Moscow mule cocktails, or Prosecco for a single tap.
Not only does this party in a box idea take stress off of the host, it also allows the community to continue supporting local businesses in a time where it is needed most in a fun and innovative way!
