Our store has at least one Certified Pet Nutritionist available 7 days a week if you need any help with your selection or want guidance on how to improve the diet and health of your cat or dog. We know our furry friends are only with us for a short time, but our goal is to give them a longer, healthier life.
Raw diets, such as Stella & Chewy’s, Primal Pet Foods, Grandma Lucy’s, Answers, and Northwest Naturals are most in line with your pet’s ancestral menu. With minimal processing in our raw foods, there are higher levels of natural nutrition. Raw diets contain more animal protein and fewer carbohydrate levels which result in positive changes in our customers’ pets such as increased energy, better skin and coat health and a noticeable healthier digestive tract. Frozen is the healthiest variety of raw diet, but we also carry a large variety of freeze-dried and dehydrated raw foods which are extremely nutritious and very convenient.
We carefully select our kibble and canned foods as well to ensure the ingredients are high quality, meat based, low on the glycemic index, a good value, and free of corn, wheat, soy, by-products and dyes. Ask our staff about freeze-dried raw toppers for the dry kibble foods to help increase the nutrition level in the diet. The moisture in canned foods is most important for cats to prevent dehydration and reduce the risk of urinary tract issues but can also increase the nutrition level in your dogs diet.
Earthwise Pet offers a Frequent Buyer Program on most of our food lines and we track the purchases for you so you don’t need to carry a card or collect any proof of purchase. If our snacks or food is not a hit with your pet, bring it back to us to try something else as we want to make sure you get exactly what your pet needs and wants. You can even bring them by to let them choose their own snack and take home a couple of food samples for them to try.
