National *insert literally anything here* Days are abundant.brWednesday was “National Love Your Pet Day” and Thursday was “NationalbrGrain-Free Day.” While I don’t always quite understand the purpose of thesebrholidays (or who establishes them??), there is one I stand by wholeheartedly. Thatbrday, is today: “National Margarita Day.”

brbr

So, in celebration of quite possibly the most importantbrholiday of the year. We’re compiling a list of all the places you shouldbrconsider leaving work early for. I mean, after all, it is a holiday.

brbr

BKK Thai Kitchen + Bar is celebrating margaritas ALL DAY LONG.brFrom open to close you can order their “Matcha Average Margarita” for only $7.brThe drink, consisting of Thai Chili Infused tequila, Yuzu, and Combier Orange, brwill be featured as one of the signature cocktails at MADRÉ Mexican Fish House.br

The Gold Fish’s newest specialty margarita is both mouth watering and different than what you might be used to! The drink features Sotol, lime juice, Bauchant Napoleon Orange Liqueur, and agave syrup. It’s then shaken poured over ice into glass rimmed with salt and Tajin! Two of these will allow you to celebrate this holiday very, very nicely.

While BUS has tons of craft cocktails to choose from, today, opt for a margarita. Our sources tell us they will be whipping up a refreshing Caribbean margarita for today’s big day. Grab your friends (and your pups) and head on over!

A resale shop might not be the first place you think of when revolving your night’s plans for this holiday. However, Threads will be serving up FREE margaritas for their customers from 5 to 8 PM. Stop by, shop a little, drink a little (or a lot), and then venture out to a local bar to continue the celebration!

As the winner of our margarita category for Local’s List 2018, it simply wouldn’t be right if our friends and their awesome ritas over at The Post weren’t included on this list. After you try one of BKK’s new special margarita, continue the celebration in Lamar Park and walk on over to the Post! Sit outside, enjoy a refreshing marg, and embrace this wonderful holiday.

Basically any La Playa is always good for a margarita or five. With a daily happy hour and margarita prices ranging between $1.99 and $3.99, even the tightest of budgets can join in on this holiday.

Over at Harrison’s Landing, Fridays are reserved for “Forget it Friday.” As a way to ring in the weekend and celebrate your week’s worth of hard work, Harrison’s has a Friday special on margaritas every week! All premium margaritas on the rocks are only $6 between 4 and 7 pm!

Brewster Street Ice House is serving up their house margaritas all day long for only $3 in honor of this glorious day! Frozen margs not your thing? No worries, their margarita on the the rocks are also just $3 all day long!

And, while Chuy’s isn’t local, they do have an awesome deal going on today. With an entirely free, fully-loaded nacho bar from 4 to 7 pmbrand $1 off their Top-Shelf Skinny Ritas, this isn’t a and way to ring in thebrweekend.

No matter how you choose to celebrate this joyousbrholiday, make sure to do it safely and responsibly. Bottoms up!
