Showcasing work from local artists, while having handy objects for various day-to-day tasks, is pretty much a match made in heaven. That notion is exactly what the brand Made in Corpus Christi has brought to fruition. According to owner Nikki Riojas, the brand was created to really show off the incredible amount of talent produced by creatives in our area.

The concept is simple. They hire local designers to create Corpus-specific icons and logos that reflect their personal aesthetic and interpretation of our city. Then, they curate beautiful lines of goods that are all designed, crafted, and/or created by makers right here in the Coastal Bend. With the help of local manufacturers, screen printers, embroiderers, and craftspeople, Made in Corpus Christi produces many products which, in turn, help build small businesses, keep tax dollars local, and bring pride to our community. The brand, which is currently located inside the boutique shop Thirteen & Market, will constantly be restocked with fresh graphics and items as new designers come on board!
