The Bend is excited to announce a new, nomination-based feature spotlighting individuals making a difference in the Coastal Bend. With the Hometown Heroes feature, we hope to share the stories of inspiring residents who dedicate their time to improving our community and impacting the lives of others.
A Hometown Hero can be anyone – a first responder, a doctor or a nurse. It could be a student who volunteers in their free time, a neighbor who helps out their community in need or a nonprofit founder or employee passionate about helping others. The list goes on and on!
The Bend’s editorial team will select several nominated individuals to feature in the August 2024 issue. Nominations are open to any Coastal Bend resident through May 20, 2024.
