A new event is coming to Corpus Christi this summer and withbrthe tagline: “Tight lines and good times”, it is sure to be one good time. The combinationbrof a mission to bring more homegrown events to the area and Roger Creager’s dream of hosting his very ownbrfishing tournament turned out to be a match made in heaven.

At a press conference earlier this morning, Creagerbrexpressed how he has always tried to take where he is from to where he isbrgoing; and, with an event like this, he truly is bringing that motto to fruition. “When this startedbrto really take shape, it became a no brainer,” Creager said in regard tobrwhy Corpus Christi is the perfect place for this event. “ The infrastructure isbrhere, the culture is here, and this is my hometown. We want to get people from allbrover down here and have them fall in love with Corpus Christi.”

Presented by Gulf Coast Marine and in Partnership with thebrAmerican Bank Center, the inaugural event will be packed with elements allbrunique to the Texas Gulf Coast. A five division fishing tournament, a concertbr(which Creager himself will play at, of course), an outdoor expo, BBQ,bractivities for the whole family, and a boat show will all be aspects of thebrevent.
