Bringing visiting and resident birders together in the “Birdiest City in North America,” is the annual Corpus Christi Birdiest Festival in America. Debuting a four-day birding trip to the Rio Grande Valley from April 17-20, out-of-state birders can access two of the top North American birding regions. Headquartered at the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center, with fabulous field trips throughout Texas Coastal Bend!
From April 21-25, experience the remarkable spring migration at the South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center with fabulous field trips throughout the Coastal Bend.
This year’s Field Trip highlights include King Ranch, Norias Division, Guadalupe Delta Wildlife Preserve, Port Aransas and Rockport-Fulton hot-spots, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Knolle Jersey Farm River Pasture, Skimmer Boat Tour, and ‘BIG DAY’ Full Day Trip—all guided by leading area birding experts.
Look forward to the opening reception, complete with a Texas BBQ dinner, a vendor trade show, artisan booths. There are 14 unique field trips to the South Texas Ranch and popular Gulf coast locations, numerous exhibitions and workshops, three bird walks, and Jonathan Wood’s “Raptor Project,” show throughout the festival.
