After the inaugural success, Coastal Bend Restaurant Week is returning for its second year. The event offers Coastal Bend locals and visitors an opportunity to experience and support area restaurants in new ways. Coastal Bend Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, September 23, and continues through October 3 in Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas. With some of the finest local restaurants and chefs participating, the 10-day celebration will highlight the immense culinary talent in the Coastal Bend region.
After traveling the world and experiencing incredible food and culture, Mirza Mirely returned to the Coastal Bend inspired. She set out on a mission to showcase the area’s culinary arts scene with programming specifically designed to spotlight local cuisine and encourage folks to eat out. Along with boosting the local economy and supporting small businesses amidst employee and supply shortages, the event is delighted to support the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend. This year, a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the organization.
“This event will certainly live up to the South Texas tradition of fun, great food and community,” said Mirely, creator of Coastal Bend Restaurant Week. “We invite you all to dig in and take advantage of the competitive deals that will be offered by various restaurants.”
When it comes to enjoying Coastal Bend Restaurant Week, tickets are not required. Folks can simply dine at any of the participating restaurants and ask for the deliciously curated menu made for restaurant week. Restaurant week will feature exclusive menus and multi-course options available for dine-in and curbside throughout the 10 days. Fixed pricing for brunch and lunch meals are set at $25 and $35 for dinner, though prices and deals may vary at participating locations.
