Downtown Corpus Christi to host monthly ArtWalk and BridgeWalk events

It’s the first fullbrweekend of the month which means that Downtown Corpus Christi will come alivebrwith ArtWalk and BridgeWalk sponsored by H-E-B in the Marina Arts District andbrSEA District.

ArtWalk is hosted inbrthe Marina Arts District on the first Friday of every month. Approximately 45brvendors will be in Artesian Park on the corner of Chaparral St. and Twigg St.brVendors include handmade local goods, jewelry, clothing, art and food vendors.brLocal musician Rudolph Llanes will be performing in Artesian Park and DavidbrMartinez will be performing in Water Street Market. Additionally, businessesbrwithin the Marina Arts District will be hosting artists, vendors and live musicbrat venues such as House of Rock, The Exchange, Treehouse Art Collectibles,brVietnam Restaurant and many, many more! Shuttle service is provided to take youbraround the district, as well as to the Art Museum of South Texas. ArtWalk isbrwhere you’ll find artists,brmusicians and all things creative converge.

Then join us on Sundaybrfor BridgeWalk. BridgeWalk is in it’s 8th year, with just over 26,000brparticipants either running or walking the approximately 3.42 miles over thebrHarbor Bridge to take in the gorgeous views of Corpus Christi Bay. Participantsbrmeet in Heritage Park around 8am and the walk will officially start at 8:30.brAfter the walk, participants will receive a BridgeWalk card with a stamp forbrtheir participation. After 5 walks, they will receive a free BridgeWalkbrt-shirt.
