For the seventh year in a row, Contemporary Art Month CorpusbrChristi (CAMCC) celebrates and promotes contemporary art and artists in thebrCoastal Bend Area. The idea came from San Antonio’s Contemporary Art Month. KbrSpace Contemporary was inspired by the idea and decided to bring it to CorpusbrChristi in 2013. The goal? To put local art in public places and remind people howbrimportant it is to both our culture and identity.

For the entire month of March, CAMCC hosts tons of eventsbrall over the city which feature art exhibitions and receptions in galleries, localbrbusinesses, public places, and at art education programs, happenings, andbrperformances.
brbr
“By placing artwork in area businesses and public place, webrdraw attention to the exceptional artists in our community,” a representativebrsaid. “This helps forge new relationships between artists and businesses, highlightbrbusinesses that support the arts, and makes one’s usual stops around town a bitbrmore interesting!”
