Sunrise Yoga on the Deck

Watch the sun rise over the bay with relaxing yoga each Wednesday morning. Water Dog Yoga, SUP & Barre welcomes all levels to join in this early-morning relaxation ritual starting at 6:30 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online.

Chain Gang Crothcet Meet Up

La Retama Central Library invites crafters of all levels to join in its weekly Wednesday crochet and knitting craft hour from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. For ages 18 and up; bring your current project or learn a new skill and find community with fellow craft lovers.

Shop local at the Grow Local Farmers Markets every Wednesday in July at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Explore a variety of fresh produce, dairy, meats and local goods from area farmers and growers, and enjoy non-food arts and products from local vendors with The Artisan Market. Shopping, music and food trucks make an evening of fun from 5 to 8 p.m.

Lazy Shoes n’ Brews

Lace up your running shoes each Thirsty Thursday at 6:15 p.m. for the weekly Lazy Shoes n’ Brews run club. Whether you prefer to run or walk, do 1 mile or 5, all are welcome to join. After each run, end the evening with the Hops n’ Flip Flops social hour at Lazy Beach Brewing.

Bay Jammin’ Concert Series

Set the scene for the perfect summer night with Bay Jammin’s  2026 Concert Series at Cole Park Amphitheater. Pack a snack and a chair, and enjoy free live music from cover bands to original songs on the waterfront, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. every Thursday night. Plus, don’t miss a special pre-fireworks show performance on July 4.

Bay Jammin’ Cinema Series

Relax and unwind with Bay Jammin’s Cinema Series all month long. Bring a blanket, snacks and your favorite movie-watching company to transform Cole Park Amphitheater into an iconic outdoor, summer-fun movie night. The movie starts at sundown every Friday night.

Lucy’s Lounge

Every Thursday night, Lucy’s Snackbar transforms into a listening lounge featuring vinyl selections from Charlie Highway and the occasional special guest. From 7-10 p.m., enjoy a great variety of natural wines, late-night bites and vinyl DJ sets spanning soul and funk to hip-hop and R&B.

July 2

Cruise Control Live

Step back in time with the sounds of classic rock’n’ roll covers from Cruise Control. Brewster Street Ice House Downtown invites live music lovers of all ages to kick back, relax and enjoy good food and music. The show starts at 7 p.m. and is free of charge.

July 3

First Friday ArtWalk

Enjoy a variety of arts and culture across downtown Corpus Christi during the First Friday ArtWalk. Explore food, shopping, activities, live music, block party celebrations and additional special programming all throughout downtown. Hooks Red, White & Boom

Bring the whole family to Whataburger Field for the Hooks Red, White & Boom 4th of July Celebration. Enjoy food trucks, bouncy houses, face painting, vendors, interactive games, a petting zoo and a performance by The Scarecrow People. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the evening nears its close as the fireworks show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase on the Corpus Christi Hooks website.

Star Spangled Brunch Club

Start your Fourth of July celebration early with Bar Under the Sun’s Star Spangled Brunch Club. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy brunch bites and cocktails, coffee from Cafecito Bebe, photo magnets from Make the Memory and music from DJs Ero Soul and Denzy. This marks the one-year anniversary of the BUS Brunch Club, so get ready for a celebration of independence and community!

July 4

Red, White & Boom Viewing Party

Celebrate the Fourth of July on the USS Lexington for a one-of-a-kind viewing experience of the Mayor’s Big Bang Fireworks show. Enjoy food, live music and an unforgettable vista for the whole family. Tickets can be purchased online. Don’t wait to purchase as this event typically sells out quickly!

July 4

Coastal Comida Fest

Get ready for the annual Coastal Comida Fest at The Waters Edge on July 4. From 3 to 10 p.m., find a variety of foods from local vendors, as well as live music, face painting, shopping vendors, mobile gaming and a beer garden, all before the Mayor’s Big Bang fireworks show to close out the night.

Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration

Save the date for the annual Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration! As the largest Independence Day celebration on the Gulf Coast, you won’t want to miss this night full of live music, activities, food and fireworks. Bring the whole family down to the Corpus Christi Bayfront at 5 p.m. to enjoy a free and fun-filled celebration.

Do the Red, White & Brew Pub Crawl

Throw on your stars and stripes to Do the Red, White & Brew Pub Crawl starting at Flanagan’s Downtown. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. to a night of challenges, competitions, awards and patriotic fun. Bring your friends, bring a camera and bring on the good times.

July 5

Halo Bloom Workshop

Bloom into summer with Halo Bloom’s for the Bloom Beginner Bouquet Workshop from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center. You can learn how to make a hand-tied bouquet with fresh flowers. Flourish your inner florist, as all levels are welcome and all supplies are provided.

July 11

Tanabata Star Festival

One of Japan’s most cherished traditions, Tanabata, is inspired by the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi, two star-crossed lovers separated by the Milky Way who are reunited only once a year. You can celebrate this tradition at the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures & Education Center’s event, featuring live entertainment inspired by Japanese culture, a marketplace with unique vendors and delicious food and drinks. A highlight of the evening is when guests write their wishes on colorful tanzaku paper and hang them on bamboo. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for children.

July 17

It’s a 2000s Party – Brewster Street

Jump back in time to a world of nostalgia and Y2K with It’s a 2000s Party at Brewster Street Downtown. Doors open at 8 p.m. to transport you to the past with the biggest hits and throwbacks of the 2000s. Tickets can be purchased online for those 18 and up.

Craft Night w/ K Space Contemporary

On the last Thursday of each month from 5:20-8 p.m., K Space Contemporary invites crafters of all kinds to participate in a self-guided event. Bring a project you have been working on, or be prepared to experiment with something new! K Space staff will share different prompts and ideas each month, along with free, ready-to-create craft kits. You can also create your own collage or craft kit from the Fill-A-Bag art supply shelf. No sign-up is necessary, and all ages are welcome.

July 24 – 25

5th Annual Hooked on Parade Fishing Tournament

Calling all anglers! Register now for the 5th Annual Hooked on Parade Fishing Tournament at The Waterline at Doc’s and enjoy a weekend filled with camaraderie. This year, the tournament has introduced split divisions for non-guided and guided teams. Every participating team will be entered into cash prize pools for each division, giving anglers of all skill levels a chance to win! The Local’s List Party 2026

Join The Bend as we celebrate the 2026 Local’s List winners! The event is heading back to the Art Museum of South Texas for a special night of local love.
