Alt Revue

What We Do – Alt Revue is a completely home-grown operation that is run by alt music junkies/musicians. We use our knowledge of music to seek out the best new alternative music as well as highlight the work of popular alternative artists. It is important to use to try to get a complete picture of the artists we cover, so whenever we can we go to live shows and do concert reviews, contact the artists/bands for interviews, after which we give our honest feedback. Alt Revue was co-founded by Michael La Torre (Co-Founder/Co-Editor) and Sarah Giles (Co-Founder/Co-Founder). The co-founders are based in Corpus Christi, TX and Morgantown, WV respectively. We currently have three contributors, based in Ohio, Illinois, and London.

We do this for a number of reasons, but most importantly, we want to help bring the spotlight to talented alternative artists/bands. We also do this because as musicians, music has always been an important part of our lives and embracing this endeavor has increased our ability to be around what we love (i.e. music).

We always seek out new talent to highlight, however, there are currently five of us on staff and we are always open/welcome to submissions from artists/bands themselves.
