We’re celebrating one of our favorite local fashion stops this week. A place where all are welcomed and anyone can find a brilliant pair sunglasses, quirky patterned dresses, or some rad graphic shirts. Yup, we’re talking about Threads and their eight years of business. Threads will be celebrating their anniversary this month, and they truly are doing it big!

Today, Monday July 1st, they will have a meet-and-greet party for everyone tobrenjoy. They will be giving out free margaritas from 5 till 8 pm with a Polaroid station for people to take photos, write notes to thebrcommunity, and then pin them to be displayed inside the store.

Not only is the 1st a big celebration, but for the week leading up to their big event, this trendy store will be giving even more to Coastal Bend locals (besides theirbrdope clothes, of course). They will be hosting an “8 Days of Appreciation” giveaway on their Instagram,brwhere followers will have the chance to win some pretty cool stuff. The giveaway will take place the eight daysbrleading up to their big celebration on July 14th. Just make sure you check in on their page andbrfollow along with the party—they really have some wardrobe elevating statementbrpieces, you guys.
Threads has been at the center of all things local for the past eight years. As a Coastal Bend staple, the team over at this resale shop have devoted so much energy into creating a welcoming environment in their store for any and all who enter. Over the years they have outgrown different locations; they’ve been involved in countless community events; and they’ve probably dressed just about every person reading this. Needless to say, we’re pretty thankful for this place.

Their official birthday bash kicks off Sunday, July 14th, and will feature live music, limited edition tote bags, a dunk tank for those who want to cool off in the summer heat, andbreven a margarita machine + a BYOB special.
