What is the dress code for this event?
The attire is “coastal cocktail.” Think breezy sundresses, rompers, polos, linen slacks, and other lightweight materials. Due to the nature of the venue, we recommend leaving the stilettos at home. Instead, opt for dressy sandals, block heels, or other similar footwear options.
Where do I park upon arrival?
There is a complimentary valet service for all ticketholders at this event. Please pull into Whataburger Field’s west parking lot and follow the signs. You can also self-park in the same parking lot.
Where do I enter/check into the event?
All event attendees will enter through Whataburger Field’s main entrance. VIP and Private Party Admission ticketholders will have a separate check-in line from General Admission ticketholders.
Is there a physical/digital ticket I need to present at check-in?
No, you do not need to show a physical or digital ticket at check-in. Please provide the name of the individual or company your ticket was purchased under at check-in to gain entrance.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, you must provide a valid ID at check-in to gain entrance into the event. This event is for 21 and up only.
How will I know where my suite is located if I purchased a Private Party Admission ticket?
If you are attending the event with a Private Party Admission ticket, you’ll be guided to your suite area by a member of our team upon arrival.
What is the timeline of events for the evening?
From 7 – 9 p.m., all event attendees are invited to wander through the covered concourse to interact with winners from The Local’s List 2023. Special performances from Harbor Playhouse (7:15 p.m.), Tina La Cochina (7:45 p.m.) and Clarissa Serna-Farias (8:30 p.m.) will take place throughout the concourse as well.
Then, from 9 – 11 p.m., guests are invited to head down to the field for live entertainment (Brewster Street Ice House Presents: Eric Graham at 9 p.m. and Triptonite at 10 p.m.) snacks, drinks and a grand finale fireworks show presented by the Port of Corpus Christi.
If I purchased a General Admission or Private Party Admission ticket, can I go into the CITGO Cotton Club?
No, if you did not purchase a VIP Admission ticket, you do not have access to the CITGO Cotton Club VIP Lounge Presented by American Bank. Only VIP Admission ticketholders will be allowed inside.
If I purchased a VIP Admission or Private Party Admission ticket, do I have to stay in the CITGO Cotton Club VIP Lounge Presented by American Bank or my private suite the entire time?
No, we encourage you to walk around the entire event footprint to enjoy all of the excitement. Additionally, if you’d like to watch the entertainment portion of the evening from the field, you may.
