Taking the family out for dinner can take the pressure off making a meal at the end of a long day, and the convenience of a kids’ menu presents options that are precisely what a young eater wants. In an attempt to help appease everyone at the table, we’ve put together a list of local kids’ menus that’ll aid you and your wee ones the next time you venture out for dinner. 

Brewster Street Ice House 

Brewster Street Ice House brings all the classics of standard, cheese- and carb-oriented fare for the kiddos, such as mac and cheese, hamburgers, and chicken tenders. Plus, kids eat free from 5 pm to close every Wednesday night, and their playscape is the perfect activity when waiting for food! 1724 N. Tancahua St. and 5550 Holly Rd.


Hester’s Cafe

While this spot only offers breakfast and lunch, their kids’ menu deserves a spot on our list. From cloud cakes — deliciously-fluffy pancakes — and french toast on Challa bread to a grilled ham and cheddar panini and a classic PB&J sandwich, Hester’s Cafe is great at serving the whole family. 3812 S. Harrison’s Landing

Located on the People’s T-Head, Harrison’s Landing offers beautiful views of the marina and Downtown Corpus Christi.
